Introduction to Sculpture

Learn about sculpture in a fun and hands on way. In learning you get to create sculpture you can use and show your friends. Some people find it hard to believe that you can get so much done in one day. Workshops are designed to satisfy seasoned sculptors, improvers and beginners alike.

Workshop
In the workshop you will learn about alginate mould making and plaster casting. You will also get to carve your own sculpture using a new medium, aerated concrete. It is easy, fun and very satisfying that you will have two competent sculptures to show your friends at the end of the workshop. The workshop starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5pm. There will be a break from 1pm to 2pm for lunch and wear old clothes to the workshop.

The Introduction to Sculpture Workshop costs €60 plus €20 for materials and safety equipment. Places are limited to 12 students per workshop. A deposit of €20 is required to book your place. This purchases your materials and safety equipment in advance.
